Authors helping Authors

As most writers know or will discover, writing is the easy part. The hardest part, is spreading the word about what we’ve written.

As new authors, it’s easy to get so focused on trying to promote our own book, that we neglect to help other authors (all the while hoping they’ll help us.)

I’m guilty of it myself, from time to time. But we’re supposed to do unto others as we would have them do unto us. Support each other.

As authors writing in the Christian genre, we already have a hard enough time being noticed in a world of books about magic, sexual relationships, and excessive violence.

That’s why I decided to start a newsletter. Yes, it will include information about my books, but it will also feature a book from another author.

My hope in this is that we will help each other. Whether your book is featured this month or not, check out the newsletter and see what new author you can support. Encourage others to subscribe so that when/if your book is featured, it goes to a wider audience. (This is the most important part for everyone).

You can subscribe at the bottom of the page!

November’s newsletter features a book written by Dana R. Lynn. December’s book is yet to be determined!

If you’re interested in having your book added to my newsletter, I would love for you to email me a PDF or mobi of your book so I can take a look at it.

I can’t guarantee a timeframe, but if your book is selected, I will try to let you know the month before.

That being said, I will only feature books that I’ve read, enjoyed, and approve of. If I’m not quite comfortable adding it to my newsletter, I will still leave a review on Amazon and Goodreads.

Guidelines: Christian genre. Fiction preferred. Some devotionals accepted.

Happy writing everyone! Go out and support someone else’s creativity!
